So, last weekend I worked a wedding in Connecticut and watched an amazing performance during the cocktail hour!! A crowd was gathered, flashes were going off, and the sound of an ELECTRIC VIOLIN filled the room! Lorenzo LaRoc put on the most amazing, electrifying, exciting one hour performance I have ever seen!
Lorenzo LaRoc has been playing the violin since the age of 8. He was classically trained on the violin, but also plays, jazz, rock & latin music. His love of music is found not only in his playing, but in his composing & arranging of music. He is a must have for any cocktail hour, any celebration or event that you are having when you want to WOW your guests! You can follow him on twitter and download his music on itunes.
Does the Groom Really need two Shirts?

You bet he does, and it is the best investment (and smallest) you make on your wedding day!! There is nothing more unattractive on a wedding day than a groom who is dripping wet from sweat, or worse yet, who has taken off his jacket, tie, vest (you get the picture) because he cannot stand the heat.
Whether you have purchased a custom tuxedo from Kleinfeld for your handsome groom, or rented a spiffy Calvin Klein from your local tuxedo rental, investing in an extra shirt is a must. This rule is for all year round, but a necessity for the summer months.
Corn starch is also a great way to keep sweat at bay, for both the bride & groom. There are many a picture of me under a wedding gown while patting a down a brides legs with corn starch to cool her off. A little down your cleavage doesn’t hurt either. Corn starch doesn’t only have a cooling sensation, it actually absorbs perspiration, giving a bride or groom a fresh feeling.
The last thing that you want to see when you get your proofs back from your photographer are sweaty foreheads, and shine on your face(s). Pressed powder works well for both bride & groom, but the oil absorbing pads from Clean & Clear are fantastic, you know them…….. the little blue pads! And they are sooo affordable!
What’s even better, you ask? The Japanese rice paper that is not only oil absorbent, but leaves a light powered finish behind. There are several brands on the market, you can get them at Ulta, Ricky’s, etc. They are more expensive than Clean & Clear, but I do love the finish if you want to splurge.
Does the brides dress have to match the venue
